Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Notice
A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice is required for any booking. While efforts will be made to accommodate orders with less notice, availability cannot be guaranteed.
2. Deposit and Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. Bookings are unconfirmed until this deposit is received.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash. The remaining balance can also be paid via bank transfer or cash, unless the customer chooses to pay the full amount at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the agreed collection date will not be accepted. Customers providing adequate notice may transfer the amount paid to a future booking, subject to approval by the bakery.
Refunds will only be considered under valid circumstances at the bakery’s discretion.
4. Order Cancellation by See Zee Bakery
See Zee Bakery reserves the right to cancel an order in cases of personal emergency, fire, or illness.
5. Allergies and Intolerances
Customers must inform See Zee Bakery of any allergies or intolerances at the time of booking.
While the bakery takes reasonable care, all ingredients are sourced from factories that handle nuts and other allergens, and the kitchen may contain traces of allergens.
See Zee Bakery cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions. Customers must make their own assessment of suitability before consumption.
6. Responsibility and Changes
Once collected, any damage to the cake is the customer’s responsibility.
The baker reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the design based on professional expertise.
7. Validity and Quotes
Quotes for cakes are valid for one month, except for wedding cakes booked well in advance.
8. Collection and Review
Customers must collect orders on the agreed date and time.
They should inspect the cake carefully, including spelling and design details, to identify any issues before leaving.
9. Late Collection
A 30-minute grace period applies to collection times.
If a cake is not collected within 30 minutes of the agreed time, a fee of £10 will be charged for every additional half-hour.
Collections are scheduled to avoid clashes between clients and to allow the bakery to manage other commitments. Customers are expected to respect the agreed collection time.
10. Liability Disclaimer
See Zee Bakery makes every effort to ensure the safety, quality, and accuracy of its products.
By placing an order, customers agree that the bakery is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the consumption of its products, including allergic reactions.
Customers assume full responsibility for ensuring that products are suitable for their needs.
